Forward Education CodeCTRL for micro:bit

CodeCTRL for micro:bit is a handheld controller and full-color display shield for micro:bit, designed to bring physical computing to life for learners of all ages from K-12. CodeCTRL supports learners through 3+ ways to use: (1) Quick coding wins with microCode, an icon-based intro for early learners; (2) Code on-screen or with plug-and-play robotic modules using CodeCTRL and micro:bit; (3) Play MakeCode Arcade, explore the code, customize, and build your own games. CodeCTRL is natively supported in the MakeCode simulator (as of the 2025 MakeCode update). The device uses a microUSB cable for charging. Recommended compatible robotic components include: Touch Sensor, Moisture Sensor, Rotary Dial, LED Light, Solar Sensor, and Sonar Sensor. A V2 micro:bit is required. CodeCTRL also supports CreateAI, letting students train AI models using movement, gestures, and more. Ideal for after-school programs, makerspaces, CTE labs, and classrooms. Available as a single unit or with a micro:bit bundle.
